Water Supply

Pumped from bore (23 metres) at cowshed. Homestead water is sourced from bore and other two homes via roof catchments. Plus back up bore.


New consents were approved by ES in Nov 2018, including Land Use Consents, Water Permit and Discharge Permit, all with a ten year term to 31 May 2029. These consents are some of the first to be issued under the new ES Land and Water plan. Conditions attached to the consents include re-lining the existing effluent pond, and to erect a new effluent storage tank (Klip Tank design and build). These requirements will be fulfilled by the vendor Jan-Mar 2019, at no cost to an incoming owner.

Cow Numbers

The Discharge Permit allows up to 815 cows to be milked, and 180 cows to be winter milked in June/July.


Individual paddock testing has been done over the previous three seasons, allowing for targeted fertiliser application. Test results available on request.
