Water Supply

The water supply and associated power are shared with the neighbouring property (Matai) and the bore is situated in the boundary corner of paddock six on Matai, pumped to the Matai cowshed via 63mm mainline. One tank at Matai transfers water to the Miro shed. Water is pumped to the flats and reticulated around the hillblock via 50mm mainline. Water is recycled at the shed by the cooler and all washdown is used for the flood wash at the main yard. An easement/water sharing agreement will be registered providing the right to convey water to Miro.

Water Consents

Consent until 31st May 2029 of 112m3/day.

Effluent

Effluent can be applied to 236 hectares via low rate pods, low rate rain gun, high rate travelling irrigator, umbilical system and slurry tanker. Effluent to two weeping walls, then gravity to synthetically lined pond. Applied via pods to approximately 37 hectares.
