Water Supply

3 bores, 2 of which supply the farm. Main bore is located right near the dairy shed approx. 10m deep and feeds shed + stock water with the additional bore approx. 50m from the shed. Stock water via 40ml mainline on the dairy-shed side of the farm, 32ml mainline on the opposite side that pumps to all troughs. The main homesteads water is by bore which is located near the calving pad and has the ability to feed all homes on the farm.

Effluent

Dairy shed effluent is gravity fed from shed to double weeping wall, then pumped to a 90 day clay-lined pond, effluent is spread via maxi-pods to 145ha.
The calving pad effluent system consists of 2 sand traps and a weeping wall which the effluent drains into a tank and is pumped into the main effluent pond.
Consent in place for 599 cows until 2032.
