Water Supply

Milk cooling water ex spring in hill to two tanks at dairy shed and also supplies stock water. Dosatron at tanks on hill. 40ml greenline, medium density with 25ml feeders to troughs on main part of the farm. Lease block No.2, 40ml, low density line with 32ml feeders.


Gravity fed to stone trap, then to two weeping walls (cleaned biannually), then first clay lined pond, second clay lined pond for reserve. Storage for 540 cows for 120 days, expiry 2020. Effluent applied via second Briggs 10 irrigator with gater buddy. Currently applying for new consent.


Ballance fertiliser and Ravensdown nitrogen.
