Dairy Unit with Multiple Options

The vendor has owned this property since 2003 and invested capital on housing, lanes, regrassing, fencing, and effluent. Previously used as a milking platform and running 800 cows producing 294,000kg MS. The vendor has moved back to North Island and employed a 50/50 sharemilker since 2014. A change in farming system to wintering all cows on farm has evolved in recent years. The location has historically received good rainfall and is considered summer safe for Northern Southland.
Riversdale and Gore are close by, and Queenstown approx 1.5 hour drive. The farm has a 54 bail rotary cowshed and five housing options making this an excellent opportunity for a large family run farming business. 73 paddocks with a mix of two and three wire electric internal and permanent boundary. There are options to split the farm to a smaller dairy unit and dairy support/drystock parcels.
There is genuine milk production upside for this farm, as foundation is there, with sound infrastructure overall.
