35 hectares was planted in fodder beet and kale to carry 750 cows over 2019 winter.As per GPS map the farm is assessed at circa 302 hectares effective which is in permanent pasture/crop. This has been re-grassed with the exception of 5%. The remaining circa 83 hectares is a combination of rough grazing, holding paddocks, ineffective land and gorse/scrub. Winter cropping programme for 2020 to be confirmed. All internal fencing is two and three wire post.

There are two bores on the property, one is situated near the cottage and the other near the Wendon creek, with the addition of a take out for stock water. The water is pumped from the dairy shed to the header tank situated in paddock 21. This tank services all troughs to the south of Wendon creek. Water is also pumped from header tank to two hill tanks which service the balance of the farm. There is water supply and troughs to all paddocks on the farm. Water consent expires 30 August 2027.
The effluent is gravity fed from the cowshed to 1st concrete pond. Solids are then separated through a screen-press. Gravity fed to two other ponds (one concrete and one lined). There is 60 days storage overall. Effluent is then applied through a travelling irrigator and maxi pods. Effluent consents allow for both application methods. The effluent consent is for 800 cows and expires on 30th August 2027.
