Reliable Dairy Unit with Centre Pivot Irrigation

Seldom do dairy units of this category come to the open market in Southland. This farm has a very strong and consistent production history, achieving 420,000kg MS the past three seasons. This is due not only to good management, but also the excellent river silt soils and irrigation being main contributors. The irrigation consent allows an application rate of 3.1mm/ha/day over a 110 day irrigation season.

The centrally located 54 bail shed provides short walks for the scale of farm, via the good central lane system that feeds to most paddocks. The farm is well housed and is in good overall condition. Furthermore, the farm is supported by a wintering barn, good calf sheds, and full range of other support buildings.

For further information on this turnkey dairy unit, please contact us today. Additionally we offer a cluster of three farms for sale owned by the same vendor.
