Water Supply

Bore in middle of farm (in paddock 32), pumped to four 30,000 L holding tanks at cowshed then pumped to troughs. Iron present in water, there is no filtration system installed.


Fully lined storage pond with over capacity for cow numbers. Effluent is gravity fed from shed to stone trap and saucer, pumped to solids separator then pumped to storage pond. Effluent is applied via maxi-pods (two sets of four pods), with underground hydrants to approx 40% of the farm and slurry tanker. Consented for 550 cows expiring May 2029.
