Present Condition ( areas approx):

9 hectares ex swedes and 12 hectares ex fodder beet (winter feed 2020) to be regrassed. The balance of the land is in permanent dairy pasture. The farm has a sound regrassing history. There are three sacrifice paddocks being utilised this Spring and they will be regrassed.

Water Supply

The main bore is in the tanker loop at the cowshed and services dairy shed and stock water. There is a water filtration system at cowshed. Second bore is located near the woolshed on northern block. The consent expires 31st May 2030.


Effluent is gravity fed from cowshed to sump, then pumped to the sludge bed where it is separated via a weeping wall that gravities into main clay lined storage pond. The effluent consent enables 1,000 cows to be milked. Consent just renewed and expires on 31st May 2030. The effluent disposal area on the farm is on the cowshed block. Consent allows for multiple application methods.
