Winter Grazing Property

This is a well established property specialising in intensive dairy winter grazing. Free draining soils allow for successful winter grazing periods.

The property has been owned by the vendors since 2011 and has been leased to dairy farmers for the previous seven seasons. The current lessee has been wintering up to 600 dairy cows and also running trading beef.

Complemented by a four bedroom home with a garage, large set of covered yards, woolshed, five bay implement shed and other support buildings. The property know as ‘Tan Bar' has pockets of attractive trees as you enter the property and around the homestead and attractive shelter around the farm.

This unit would serve as an ideal dairy support operation for an existing Southland dairy farming business looking to have control over cow wintering, with the scale and housing sufficient to justify employing staff based on the farm.
