Water Supply

The bore for the shed and livestock is located at the cowshed, with water reticulated through 40 mm lines to troughs in paddocks, 28 of the paddocks have two troughs. A second bore at the woolshed supplies water for calf rearing. Consented for 112,000 litres per day, valid until 31 May 2032.
Houses have bore water with back up water from roof catchment.

Effluent

Effluent from the shed and yard flows to the sand trap, sump pumps to a clay lined weeping wall then applied to the farm via two sets of three maxi pods. The pods run on intervals of 15 minutes on, 15 minutes off, for 4 hours. Pods are normally shifted in the morning and evening. Effluent is spread using a low-rate pod system. An umbilical system can also be used but has not generally been used on the property. Consent for 800 cows can be applied via low rate pod system, travelling irrigator, umbilical system and slurry tanker up to 250 ha until 31 May 2032.
