Water Supply

Consent for 224,000 litres per day until 31st May 2035.

Effluent

Effluent is pumped from cowshed centre to stonetrap and then gravity to another stonetrap with 30,000 litre tank. Pumped to sludge beds and weeping walls and onto lined pond. Applied via Torpedo travelling irrigator to land via reticulated hydrants to two main areas of farm in general cowshed vicinity.

Consent for 1,500 cows until 31st May 2035. Apart from some set back areas, most of the farm and land leased is in the discharge permit area. Consent allows low rate pods, travelling irrigator, and high rate umbilical or slurry tanker.
