From a bore on Blanks Road then pumped to an iron filter on the Rata farm, then pumped to tanks at the dairy shed and reticulated to troughs in all paddocks. Easements in place to take and carry water.

The discharge is for feed pad/stand-off pad, effluent is for 900 cows during April, May, August, September and October for two hours per day and 450 animals from June – October for up to 10 hours per day.
